Reports say Lenovo to Introduce gaming phone

As reported in April of 2019 by Chang Chen, a Lenovo Vice President Lenovo will introduce a gaming smartphone under the Legion brand. Lenovo Group Limited is best known for the design and manufacture of personal computers, tablets as well as workstations and servers. The company was formed in was incorporated in 1988 in Hong Kong in 1988 and is headquartered in Beijing, China, and has a US headquarters in Morrisville, North Carolina. The company sells products in more than 160 countries around the world. Lenovo purchased IBM’s personal computer business in 2005. Lenovo moved into the smartphone market in 2012 and, by 2014, was the largest supplier of smartphones in China. Lenovo acquired Motorola Mobility, the phone handset manufacturer from Google in 2014. The company has reportedly been working on this project for some time with an eye to competing with gaming phones from Asus, Black Shark, Razer, and Nubia is looking to introduce the Legion gaming phone in the first quarter of 2020. The phone is expected to be powered by the QUALCOMM Snapdragon 855 or 865 chipsets with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It is also said to have an AMOLED 1080p display with a refresh rate of 90hz. It will have a fingerprint sensor built into the display.
